Cycling as a sport or just for exercise is fun! But even better is the fact cycling is a tech sport in terms of parts. One can loose himself into finding better parts and constant upgrading. This blog is dedicated to the art of the mecanicien. And in my case more on older parts than brand new stuff.







If a part works I can't just throw it away. One of my spare bottom brackets is a KSS BSA 68mm cartridge type which is in relatively good condition. Relatively because I suspect it to be a cheap one in the first place with its plastic cups. Anyway, the last time I installed it into an old Bianchi frame (BSA & italian.. that's strange) I couldn't screw in one of the crank bolts. After some inspection it seemed the the thread in it's spindle was F.U.B.A.R.
